Born in England in 1977, Oliver Shaw grew up on the South Downs around Brighton and started painting and making things at a young age. His original abstract art paintings and mixed media assemblages have been exhibited in London, New York, Philadelphia , Los Angeles, London, Tokyo and Berlin and sold all over the world. He creates abstract expressionist paintings from his studio in Neukölln, Germany, from the side of the lake, from anywhere and on anything, he makes work with found objects, Screen printing and painting on a Smörgåsbord of used skateboards, handmade paper, ripped down street posters and deep and heavy hand stretched canvases. This work is dated 2011 and signed on the back of the canvas. The canvas measures 65 ¾ in – 167 cm wide, 39 ¾ in – 101 cm high and 1 in – 2.5 cm deep.
